Fueling Dreams Gets Drivers Pumped -
& Raise over $60,000 for Special Olympics Hawaii athletes!

On Thursday and Friday, April 2 - 3, Tesoro Hawai'i hosted the fourth annual "Fueling Dreams" fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics Hawai'i athletes. Tesoro Hawaii employees and officers from the Honolulu Police Department and federal and state law enforcement agencies as well as military representatives teamed up to pump gasoline for customers and wipe their windshields, while also collecting donations for Special Olympics Hawai'i. The employees of Tesoro sold Fueling Dream icons inside their stores leading up to the event, and joined in the fun during the event. Together, law enforcement and Tesoro raised more than $60,000!
 
As always, all funds raised will remain in Hawai'i and will be earmarked to help underwrite the costs of organizing the 2009 Summer Games.
