Mahalo For An Amazing Aukake Classic!

Mahalo Torch Runners!

We would like to send a big mahalo to all those who supported this year’s
First Hawaiian Bank Troy Barboza Law Enforcement Torch Run!

With almost 800 runners and walkers, this year’s event raised over $76,000 for the athletes of
Special Olympics Hawaii. We would like to
say a special thank you to the Honolulu Police Department for
their support of the run.  We simply could not do this without their amazing
personnel and
we are so grateful for all that you did to keep Troy Barboza’s memory alive!

The Holoholo Club is a walking program developed through the Special Olympics Hawaii SOFit program.  The program goal is to help our athletes, partners, coaches and family members stay in shape or get in better shape in a low impact and easy movement program.  It is designed for the whole family to come out and participate, not just the Special Olympics athlete. Special Olympics Hawaii believes that if our families are involved in this program the Special Olympics athlete will stay more involved and become more physically fit and live longer more active lives.

Holoholo in Hawaiian means Lets Go Walking and Special Olympics Hawaii believes that it is Good For the Sole.
