Aukake Classic

The Aukake Classic is a 2-day event held at Waiau District Park in Pearl City at the end of August. Competition includes a multi-division 5-a-side Soccer tournament, Individual Skills Soccer competition, and Traditional and Unified Bocce Doubles competition. The Aukake Classic marks the end of the Summer season.

Saturday, August 16 - Sunday, August 17, 2008

Sports and Venues:

Bocce - Waiau District Park
Soccer - Waiau District Park

Special Events and Venues:
Opening Ceremonies, Olympic Town (Saturday only), and Closing Ceremonies will be held at Waiau Distict Park.

Housing/Lodging:
All Neighbor Island Delegations that are participating on both Saturday and Sunday will be staying at the Pagoda Hotel near Ala Moana. Molokai to handle their own transportation and housing.  Oahu delegations will not be housed for this event.

To Qualify:
Athletes and Special Partners must complete a season-long training program, meet delegation, Area, and State training standards, and participate in a qualifying competition in that sport to advance to the 'Aukake Classic.

10:00 am - 11:15 am - Soccer Divisioning Rounds
11:30 am  - 4:00 pm - Soccer Competition
10:00 am - 3:00 pm - Traditional Bocce Competition followed by Awards
