Summer Games

The Summer Games brings over 1,100 Special Olympics Athletes and Special Partners from throughout the state to the University of Hawaii for 3 days of Olympic-style competition in Track and Field, Swimming, Powerlifting, and Softball. The Summer Games also includes the Healthy Athletes village, Olympics Town, Openning and Closing Ceremonies

To Qualify:

Athletes and Unified Partners must complete a season-long training program, meet delegation, Area, and State training standards, and participate in a qualifying competition in that sport to advance to Summer Games.
